Eleftheria VASILEIADOU (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Eleftheria Vasileiadou (PhD, University of Amsterdam) is Assistant Professor in Science, Technology and Public Policy, at the Institute for Environmental Studies of the VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on various topics of science and environment communication. She has published on topics such as scientific communication and collaboration online, and theoretical and methodological issues of complexity theory in a number of journals. Her current research focuses on the science-citizen interface on climate change adaptation processes, the impact of scientific institutions, such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and stakeholder consultations in the European Energy sector. Eleftheria Vasileiadou is coordinating, together with Susan van ‘t Klooster, the research cluster on Science, Technology and Environmental Governance at the Institute for Environmental Studies. She is also a Research Fellow of Earth System Governance (ESG) project, a core project of the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP).
